about

Saturday, November 18th, 2023, Jeremy Buck will host the 18th Annual Rock for Tots Charity Concert as both a “Live Event” and an online “Live Streaming” broadcast.  This musical concert and fundraiser will benefit the Beach Cities Toy Drive, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that distributes toys to disadvantaged children, and the Harbor Regional Center Holiday Help Fund that helps families with disabilities.

The live event will take place on Pier Plaza, Hermosa Beach, CA from 6-9pm.

The LIVE STREAM will be broadcast for FREE online at www.rock4tots.net starting at 6PM (PST).

You may also watch it on Jeremy Buck's Facebook and YouTube Channels as well. Just go to the “Watch the Show” Link in the Main menu for direct access. This year’s concert will consist of several performances from some of Southern California’s top musical talent.

Guests attending the Live event are encouraged to bring new unwrapped toys to be collected at our Rock for Tots tent located on the plaza near the stage. We will also be collecting cash donations both online and at the event to benefit the Beach Cities Toy Drive as well as Harbor Regional Center’s Holiday Help Fund.

We hope you will join us either live or online to help us make a difference for a great cause!

Each year during the holiday season, we remember our clients and families who are less fortunate. Some of our clients and families have additional needs that fall outside of our guidelines for purchasing or providing services. Because of this, we have established the Harbor Help Fund, supported by donations, that enables us to purchase supports that can be vital to the quality of our clients’ lives. This fund is used for emergencies and basic needs such as rent payments, clothing, food, and other supports for clients in need.

This year, many more families have been faced with new challenges during the pandemic, and struggle to put food on the table during this difficult time. If you are able to give any amount, we are asking for donations which we will use to support these families, many of whom are facing even more difficulty due to the pandemic, loss of income, health issues, and housing insecurity. Your donation may be in the form of a check payable to the Harbor Help Fund, or may be in the form of gift cards for us to distribute.

With your help, we can show these families that they are part of a caring Harbor Regional Center community.

Harbor Regional Center is a private, non-profit (501 c-3) organization which provides services to more than 15,000 children and adults with developmental disabilities, and their families, in the greater Long Beach and South Bay areas of Los Angeles County. Developmental disabilities include intellectual disability, autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and other similar conditions. Funds we receive to serve these families under contract with the state allow us to provide services and support for needs that are related to their developmental disabilities, but do not allow us to provide help for the basic needs of everyday living.

Our contributors include individuals, families, clubs, youth groups, businesses, coworker groups… and members of our own staff and Board. All of these contributors have shown that their concern and generosity towards others in need is alive and well during the holiday season. If you are able to be a new contributor to the program, a returning donor, or invite your friends and coworkers to join you in supporting Harbor Regional Center’s Holidays Help for Clients, we thank you very sincerely for your kind and thoughtful support!

South Central Family Health Center is a nonprofit 501(c)3 health center that provides care to all people regardless of ability to pay. This list will benefit our pediatric patients ages 0-14. On average, our patients hail from families with average household incomes less than $24,600 for a family of four; their parents are among the frontline workers who are suffering from economic displacement caused by COVID-19 as they are disproportionately restaurant, hotel, and domestic workers. Your donation is tax deductible and greatly appreciated. For more information contact David Roman, Director of Development and Communications at (323) 908-4231 or at DavidR@scfhc.org.
